Rowupdating event fires twice

This means that when the user does an update, the data from that update is lost. You should create your data source once (on the user's first visit) and store it into Session for later use, and only bind the Grid View to the data source when it is necessary to do so.

I'm facing some annoying Grid View behavior where it fires the Row Deleting event twice.

I'm doing the very normal (logical) steps for deleting a row from a Grid View.

sanitize "down" to do nothing when last Active is on last grid row Changes 2 and 3 are probably not important for you, because select Row handles this situation and does nothing.

I just needed to have clean calls to select Range for my server notifications.

Hi all, I seem to be having the same issue but I don't quite follow the trouble with the above post. Can you explain the T/S a little more or maybe point me to another post that may have already covered it? It's quite common that people create the data source and bind this source to the Grid View in their Page_Load() method.

What happens with this is that the source is being created every time the user submits the page.

Problem: My grid calls select Row twice on single click into row on FF, Opera and Safari. Row Selection Model.handle Mouse Down (and I hope this is right place where to handle selections). You can verify this by adding the following line to the array grid example before the select First Row() call.

Row Selection Model.select Row to do some AJAX about selection change. Row Selection Events defines rowclick event handler. The first call to select Row was previously done in This is likely a bug in your code, the select Row fn is not called twice.

Here is what I'm doing: 1- my test Page_Load method 2- the Grid View has a Delete Command Field.

3- on tracing I've noticed my Row Deleting event gets fired twice!

I'm having a very hard time understand what would prevent your event from being fired.
